A new APPG has been formed to support the performing arts sector and investigate any challenges in the education and training provision in the sector.

Simon Baynes, the MP for Clwyd South, has been elected as chair and vice-chairs include Lord Vaizey, Sharon Hodgson MP, Lord Aberdare, Lord Clement-Jones, Lord Taylor of Warwick and Jack Lopresti MP.

The APPG is partnering with the Council for Dance, Drama and Musical Theatre.
