The All Party Parliamentary Group for Events has been re-established with Theresa Villiers MP (Chipping Barnet) as chair and Robert Largan MP (High Peak) as vice-chair.

James Heappey MP (Wells) was previously chair until his appointment as Minister for the Armed Forces, which precluded him from the role in the APPG. Theresa Villiers' appointment means that the events industry will have a stronger voice in Parliament, essential for helping the sector recover after Coronavirus.
